I am watching the marathon of Planet Earth right now and it is tremendous. The footage they managed to get it unreal. Animals are the coolest thing ever. 40 camera teams were shooting at over 200 different locations for more than 5 years to create this. For the air shots, a special airborne camera was used with a 400 mm lens that was able to zoom into single animals from a kilometer away without disturbing them. For those who love nature documentaries, Planet Earth in HD is delightful. Also, owls are cute and seals eat penguins.
